A BRIEF HISTORY FROM THE BOSS
I started working in the nighttime economy back in 1995 as a boost to my income from what I called my “normal” job. Working in various venues in the city centre for a few different security suppliers, I very quickly grew to love the industry.
Quickly realising this was the “job for me”, I left my full-time employment in pursuit of a life on the doors.
After working as a head doorman at a variety of venues, I moved on to area operations manager for a large national supplier. I covered the north east of England, working across all areas of security, but my passion was the nighttime economy and leisure. Then in 2022, after 20 years of service with the company, I took a break. Viking Security Services was born. So 30 years “on the doors” and I’m still loving it.
